Black Knights take 3A North Title

The West Memphis Christian Black Knights took home some hardware over the weekend.

The Knights are the 2024-25 Boys North State 3A Champions. WMCS faced off against Tunica Academy for the fourth time this season to secure the final win, 60-52.

The 3A Overall State Playoffs are starting this week when the Knights will play Sylva-Bay Academy in the first round at Benton Academy this afternoon at 5:15 p.m.

Four members of the WMCS squad also earned a little individual recognition, as they were named to the All-Tournament Team. DJ Selvy, Tim Bates, Stephon Sheffa and Kingston Rottinghaus were presented plaques after the game.
