The Mid-South Association of Independent Schools recently recognized a longtime local educator for more than half a century of service.
'It's Terrific Teacher Tuesday, and today, we are spotlighting the amazing Susan Creekmore from West Memphis Christian School!' said an MAIS release. 'Mrs. Creekmore has over 55 years of teaching experience and currently teaches Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, and Statistics. She is described by her colleagues as loving, excellent, amazing, and dedicated. Enjoy the spotlight Mrs. Creekmore. You deserve it! Thank you for the years of service to our students, families and community!'
West Memphis Christian sent their own salute to Mrs. Creekmore on social media. A message earlier this week from the Black Knights’ Facebook page read: 'We are so proud of our very own Mrs. Susan Creekmore who has been teaching math for 50 plus years in Crittenden County.
She is currently teaching honors level math and all of our college courses at WMCS. Thank you Mrs.
Creekmore for your service and dedication to Christian education.'
