County GOP up & running
The Crittenden County Republican Party recently opened a new headquarters at 223 E. Broadway in West Memphis, joining the flurry of activity as election season begins to heat up. The opening of the headquarters was attended by nearly 50 people, including two Arkansas State Representatives from Blytheville and McCory.
The event featured speeches from various Republican candidates, including RPA State Chair Joseph Wood, RPA Coordinator Lexi Brammer, State Representative Candidates Tammi Bell and Robert Thorne Jr, and Quorum Court Candidates Brad Moore and Sidney Hardin. The opening and closing remarks were made by CCRP Chair Wayne Croom.
“For too long Eastern Arkansas has been left no option but to vote for the Democrat Party.” said Croom, “We’re changing that and giving voters a choice by opening the Republican Party of Arkansas Victory Office in West Memphis. We were overwhelmed with the support and outpouring of volunteer signups by everyday Arkansans ready to make a difference.”
Attendees of the event enjoyed fellowship, food, and refreshments as they gathered to support the local Republican Party and its candidates. The headquarters opening is part of the party’s efforts to boost their numbers ahead of upcoming local, state, and federal elections.
