have been notified that they will need to fill the two vacant positions on the commission and are currently reviewing applications based on the commission’s recommendations. The city council will be responsible for making the final decision on who will fill the seats.

“We have taken applications, and the commission went over them and they have been submitted to the city council. My understanding is that it is on the agenda for Thursday of this week,” Suiter said.

Three applications have been received for the open positions, with Eddie West, Bill Morris, and Orlando Rosado nominated to fill the two spots.
