If you or someone you know has a family with children who have been displaced due to the flood, please contact your child’s school or the district office at (870) 735-1915. The West Memphis School District has resources available to assist families in transition through the McKinney- Vento Act. Please note that paperwork must be completed before resources can be allocated.

Cancer Support Group
Baptist Memorial Hospital-Crittenden hosts a cancer support group on the second Wednesday of every month an 12 noon. The group is open to anyone diagnosed with cancer to share and process together in a safe space, aimed at providing a safe and supportive space for sharing experiences, offering encouragement and fostering connections. Low-cost Spay & Neuter Clinics
MARS will conduct a series of low-lost spay/neuter clinics on the following dates and locations: Marion Animal Shelter – May 13-15, Sept. 16-18; West Memphis Animal Shelter – June 24-26, Sept. 16-18; Marked Tree Animal Shelter – April 15-17, Aug 12-14, Nov. 1820.
Civil Air Patrol
Civil Air Patrol meets the first, second and third Monday of each month, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Cypress Avenue Baptist Church, 1241 Cypress Ave, in Marion.

Tornado Siren Testing
The West Memphis Office of Emergency Management will conduct periodic tests of the city’s tornado siren warning system on Saturdays at noon. These sirens are located at: Tilden Rodgers Park, the J.W. The West Memphis School District holds its monthly School Board meetings on the third Tuesday of the month, at 6 p.m., at the Central Office, 301 S.

Displays on history of Crittenden County in Earle in the former Missouri Pacific Railroad Depot, 1112 Main St. Open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays and 2 to 5 p.m.
