ASU Mid-South had trouble keeping up with MACC in a 12-2 loss on Friday. MACC were the first to get on the board in the first when Braden Hemmer hit a solo home run to left field. MACC scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning.

Gavin Poindexter homered to center field, scoring two runs, A.J. Lucas drew a walk, scoring one run, Tanner Nelson drew a walk, scoring one run, and Owen Larrigan was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

MACC added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Grant Sumrall singled, scoring one run, and Lucas tripled, scoring two runs. Brock McNeill started the game for ASU Mid-South. The righty allowed four hits and six runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking five.

Sam Bespoyasny started on the mound for MACC. The hurler gave up seven hits and two runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking none.

Bobby Clifton and James Chicorelli were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for ASU Mid-South. Brayden McKnight and Parker Andel each drove in one run for ASU Mid-South.

MACC accumulated 10 hits in the game. Lucas, Jake Stedman, and Sumrall each collected two hits for MACC.

Lucas, Sumrall, and Poindexter each drove in two runs for MACC. Hemmer led MACC with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game.

Game 2: Moberly notches blowout win over ASU Mid-South ASU Mid-South had trouble keeping up with MACC in a 20-3 loss on Friday.

A double by Drew Busby put ASU Mid-South on the board in the top of the first. MACC tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to an error, and a walk by A.J. Lucas.

ASU Mid-South took the lead in the top of the second.

Parker Andel doubled, scoring one run, to give ASU Mid-South the upper hand, 3-2.

MACC flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring 10 runs on five hits to take the lead, 12-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Grant Sumrall that drove in three.

MACC added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Gavin Poindexter singled, scoring three runs, and an error scored one run.

Busby drove the middle of the lineup, leading ASU Mid-South with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day.

Number nine hitter, James Chicorelli, showed the depth of ASU Mid-South's lineup, by leading them with two hits in two at bats.

MACC tallied 11 hits in the game. Lucas, Jake Stedman, Sumrall, Carter Bremer, Poindexter, Ryker Zimmerman, Kaleb Knaust, Cal Turin, Peyton Braile, Lucas Eddleman, and Braden Hemmer each collected one hit for MACC. Poindexter and Eddleman each drove in three runs for MACC.

MACC had a strong eye at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game. Lucas, Stedman, Bremer, and Poindexter led the team with two walks each.

Lucas and Bremer each stole multiple bases for MACC. MACC ran wild on the base paths, accumulating six stolen bases for the game.

ASU Mid-South fell to MACC 5-2 on Saturday.

MACC got on the board in the first inning after Braden Hemmer hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Peyton Braile homered to center field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the second for the MACC.

MACC scored one run in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run to left field by Braile.

Manny Reyes earned the win for MACC. The righty surrendered four hits and two runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking four. Layne Rivers took the loss for Arkansas State MidSouth. The starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering five runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out two and walking two.

Matthew Dutton led ASU Mid-South with two hits in four at bats. Colton Coleman and Eli Dale each drove in one run for ASU Mid-South.

Jake Stedman and Braile each collected two hits for Moberly. Braile went 2for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in.

Game 4: Greyhounds claw back, fall just short against Moberly

ASU Mid-South's effort to come back from down five runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 7-6 to MACC on Saturday. ASU Mid-South closed the gap by scoring on a single, a walk, a sacrifice fly, a single, and a single.

ASU Mid-South lost despite out-hitting MACC eight to five. Bobby Clifton, Ethan Hirons, Kaleb Tejada, and James Chicorelli each collected two hits for ASU Mid-South.

MACC got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Jake Stedman singled to center field, and Grant Sumrall tripled down the left field line, each scoring two runs.

Moberly added one run in the third. Lucas Eddleman grounded out, making the score 5-0.

Edil Gonzalez earned the win for MACC. The lefthanded pitcher surrendered four hits and four runs (two earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out two and walking three. Scott Trumble took the loss for ASU Mid-South. The pitcher went three innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on five hits, striking out one and walking three. Hayden Holman earned the save.

Chicorelli led ASU Mid-South with three runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup.

The left-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day.

ASU Mid-South turned two double plays in the game.

Sumrall led MACC with three runs batted in. The second baseman went 1for-3 on the day. Stedman, Sumrall, Kaleb Knaust, Eddleman, and Braden Hemmer each collected one hit for MACC. MACC turned one double play in the game.
