The Earle Bulldogs look poised for another deep run in the always competitive 1A high school playoffs.
The Bulldogs are the 1-A District 3 Champions after a big 70-43 win over Ridgefield Christian in the district tournament finals. The win put a cap on the regular season that saw the Bulldogs go undefeated (14-0) in conference play.
With the win, the Earle boys are the top seed in this week’s 1A-Region 2 tournament, where the top eight teams in District 2 and 3 will be competing for a spot in the hard-fought 1A Boys State Basketball Tournament.
Not to be outshone by their counterparts, the Lady Bulldogs will also be rolling into the Regionals with a No. 1 seed under their belts. The 2025 Girls District 3 Champs will be back in action this week.

Earle (18-3 overall) will be taking on the No. 4 seed from District 2, the Timbo Tigers (19-17 overall) in the opening round this afternoon. The tournament will be held at Westside High School in Jonesboro.
