Here’s a question that makes you scratch your head: Over here near the I-40 off-ramp, we have gasoline prices at $2.79 and $2.81. Yet, when you go down I-55 past Marion, we have gas prices at $3.13 and $3.16. Now, we’re talking the same county.

We’re not talking about transportation difficulties. We’re talking right down the road from each other. Why do we have such disparities in our gas prices here in Crittenden County? And in Southaven, they’re even lower. That question needs to be answered.

and you’re right, it’s pretty clear whose sticking it to motorists, especially in cases like the gas stations right off the interstate. They want to let those criminals go back into the community. So ICE has to go into the community and pick up that criminal. And, of course, if they come across any illegal immigrants, they’re going to pick them up. Instead of just agreeing with ICE and saying, “Okay, we’ve got a detainer, come get them,” they put them back into the community. They’re the ones making it worse for illegal immigrants, not ICE. It’s the sanctuary cities that want to protect them all. They’re stupid. They should just have a detainer on ICE, give it to ICE, and avoid most of this, but they don’t want to do that.

[ Editor’s Note: As much as I believe the Trump administration is using immigrants as a boogeyman scare tactic, the truth is, at the end of the day, they are here illegally, and so it’s hard to argue against the deportations on a practical level. On a humanitarian level, though…]
