UA Cossatot made the long trip across the state to West Memphis on Monday really taking it to ASU Mid-South early and often. The Lady Colts would outscore the Lady Greyhounds in every quarter except the 4th when the game had already been decided.
The Lady Colts came out firing as they double up the Lady Greyhounds in the first half taking a 38-19 lead into the locker room. The 3rd quarter was much like the 2nd as it was the Lady Colts again putting more separation between them and the home town Greyhounds. ASU Mid-South would keep fighting although the game had already been decided as they would outscore UA Cossatot in the final frame.
Alexandria Jefferson would lead all scorers with 23 points and finished with 10 assists.
Alexis Hernandez finished with 22 points going 4 for 4 from deep. Coriana Fulbright would finish the game with an impressive 21 point 25 rebound game for the Lady Colts.
Lula-Jae Tranfaglia would lead the Lady Greyhounds with 16 points and 15 rebounds. London Robinson scored 12 points, and Charalyn Rester with 11. Sage Singleton scored 8, while Richara Cooper added 4.
Season Cancelled
The Lady Greyhounds were set to be back in action on Monday, Jan. 27, as the were to host the Lady Pioneers of North Arkansas College.

ASU Mid-South gave notice that the team would be cancelling all of its remaining games.
'Due to unfortunate circumstances, we have had to make the tough decision to cancel the remainder of our women's basketball season,' the school said in a release. 'Although this is not ideal, we are looking forward to being back next season and competing at a high level. Thank you for all the support you have shown our Lady Greyhounds throughout the season.'
The 2024-25 season was a disappointment by virtually any metric, with the Lady Greyhounds going winless through 17 games. The men's team will continue to play out its remaining schedule.
