It was a record setting night for the Lula-Jae Tranfaglia, as she would tie a school record with 24 rebounds.

at 15 at the end of the first quarter, but as the 2nd quarter began the Lady Tigers started to gain a little seperation from the hometown team. The Lady Greyhounds would struggle to get the ball in the hoop as they only converted 2 of their 15 shot attempts in the quarter. The Lady Tigers would use that to their advantage to take a 9 point lead into intermission.
Once the 3rd quarter got underway, the Lady Tigers of Northeast really put their foot on the gas scoring 31 points in the 3rd quarter behind three 3 pointers from Jakeria Hawkins. Northeast Mississippi would outscore ASU Mid-South 31-16 in the 3rd quarter making a comeback really tough for the home team. The 4th quarter was much like the 1st in which is was a close quarter in which the Lady Greyhounds would outscore the Lady Tigers by 1.
GAME STATE
• Northeast Mississippi was led by Jakeria Hawkins' 19 points and 8 assists.
• Tyesha James would score 13 and Kelsey Frederick would have 11 to round out the double digit scorers for the Lady Tigers.
• London Robinson led the Lady Greyhounds in scoring with 16 while also grabbing 8 rebounds.
• Zarriah Adams scored 13 and Charalyn Rester with 10.
• Lula-Jae Tranfaglia would score 9 points and would grab 24 rebounds which ties her with Kierra Adams for most rebounds in a game in school history. Kierra Adams set the record against Meridian CC on November 21, 2014. A record in which she stood alone for almost 10 years.

ASU Mid-South is back home on Thursday, Nov. 21, as they host Itawamba Community College. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s game.
