What is your attitude with the voting system?

Why should I vote? Voting is a privilege and right that was fought to have, people bled and died for all Americans to have this opportunity to voice one’s decision concerning an issue or select an individual to represent a position.

Unfortunately the largest voter turnout is always for the office of the president, because many Americans feel that the leader of the land makes the greatest impact when it comes to the people. Not true. In fact, it is the state, city and local elected officials who make the greatest political impact on society. When you don’t vote, the elected officials do not, nor will not, cater to the needs of those in need because your voice is silent.

Have you considered when you don't vote, issues that are important to you are not addressed. One vote is all it takes! Elected officials are always one vote closer to getting their way. If you don't show up, no one will care that you didn't, and you will just have to put up with whatever the outcome of the voters. Did you know not voting in a number of election cycles, such as a state, federal, and local elections can remove your name from the voting rolls?

You still have the right to vote, but now you may have to basically Re-Register to Vote.

Voting represents your individual power as a constituent and affects the policies and laws that are enforced from the state, city, and local offices.

an opportunity to serve and you, the people should use our vote to elect individuals you are comfortable with and conduct research on them to hold them accountable for their responsibilities as elected representatives. To vote is to make your voice be heard, to be a part of the economic growth of your state, and city and it shows the unity and power of the community. Voters should make sure others are registered to vote. Before you vote, do your research on the candidates, spread the word to encourage others to vote and you go vote! This is our opportunity as Americans to come out in numbers to make a difference, which therefore will put a lot of pressure on the elected officials to make a difference. It’s great to be a registered voter, now vote.

Your voice does make the difference. As well as you choosing not to vote! Why can’t you understand your vote will affect the future of your city, state, and nation? The choice is yours! Voting does matter!

Should everyone have the right to vote? Americans need to understand the power of voting. Voting allows people to speak. Voting is easy and only takes a minimum amount of your time. This process is necessary for everyone, because it is allowing you to be equal with the option to vote. Despite how many arguments, debates or ads that are shared with society about the feelings towards the issue or person, at the end of the day your choice can be solidified by voting for or against a matter. Do you take voting seriously?
