The poll’s progress
Y ou may have gleamed that I have borrowed from a very old title – one of John Bunyan’s making – of ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress,’ which is a tale basically of a journey.
We are presently engaged in a journey as well … that of a trip to the polling places to cast votes for people to fill political offices and also on referendums. And, like in ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress,’ we have signs, doubts, burdens, hopes, both true and fair-weather friends, and the like either barring the way, or urging us on to cast our ballots.
Here’s a few things to mull over while you are in line at the polling places. You might want to share them with others as you wait: Like, why does one political party keep doling out freebees while claiming it is all ‘government funded,’ when in reality everything is ‘taxpayer funded?’ That would include funded by you, by the way.
Or, how is it that the justice for all party is attempting to throw it’s political opponents into jail by lawfare, right up to the very day of elections? Even to the point of publishing spurious unproven and unprovable allegations in the courtroom. Note this headline: “Jack Smith’s Evidence Made Public After Judge Chutkan Rules Keeping It Private Could Be ‘Election Interference.’” Which would be too wild to be convincing – if it were even fiction? Which it isn’t.
Just as bad … remember when they were lying about Donald Trump and suing to keep him off Democrat-controlled state’s ballots and avoiding debates? That all got shot down really quickly by the Supreme Court, as blatantly unconstitutional and outright Third-World hellhole dementia.
And there’s this: Those in power say that if you don’t vote for Kamala Harris for President, then you are a sexist – especially – at least according to Barack Obama – if you are a black male voter. Only, the very same people are also telling us that we can’t determine what a woman is, because we are not biologists?
Then, another conundrum.
Like when is an answer not an answer?
That would be in the following circumstance, Nov, 2021: Question to Kamala Harris on the subject of ‘Inflation.’ (Word Salad, anyone?)
Question: “Can you tell us a little bit about how you would prevent the new spending in your Build Back Better agenda from exacerbating the problem? And also, what else are you going to do to fix this problem with inflation?”
Answer, VP Kamala Harris: “Right. Thank you. Well, let’s start with this, prices have gone up, and families and individuals are dealing with the realities that bread costs more, that gas costs more. And we have to understand what that means. That’s about the cost of living going up, that’s about having to stress and stretch limited resources, that’s about a source of stress for families that is not only economic, but is on a daily level something that is a heavy weight to carry. So it is something that we take very seriously, very seriously. And we know from the history of this issue in the United States, that when you see these prices go up, it has a direct impact on the quality of life for all people in our country. So it’s a big issue and we take it seriously, and it is a priority therefore.”
Where’s Captain Obvious when you need him?
As when Kamala says we have to ‘Turn the Page’ on the problems of the last 4 years, when she was Vice-President. Only, when asked about what she would do to change those policies on ‘The View,’ Harris responded: “Nothing comes to mind.” Huh? Isn’t that like saying, “As Vice-President I did nothing, but as President I’ll do even MORE of nothing?”
So, here’s a question: What does a Democrat say when their ‘race card’ has been denied and they are asked for another form of argument?
And, isn’t it really weird that if you fly an American flag at your home, that everybody just assumes who you are voting for? (Hint: NOT a Democrat.)
Also, what’s with the name-change games the Progressives are engaged in these days? Like calling illegal aliens “undocumented immigrants?” Isn’t that like calling fentanyl dealers “undocumented pharmacists?” Speaking of the times changing, young men used to lie about their age so they could go fight in wars… now, with Democrats in charge and issuing lawsuits on their behalf day and night, then ‘Men for Kamala’ lie about their gender to win medals in women’s sports.
And I still don’t see how any parents of a little girl could be supportive of Lefties shoving trans-men into their girl’s locker rooms, bathrooms, or up to the stand for to steal their first-place women’s trophies by voting Democrat ticket … I hope whatever they got in return for their souls was worth it!
Makes as much sense as the transvestite who said, “Trump will take away my abortion rights!”
Of course it’s her prostate, so it’s her choice.
Happy voting!
