In a time where political tensions seem to drive a wedge between Americans, the residents of West Memphis and surrounding counties came together in unity for Freedom Fest this past Saturday. With July 4th just around the corner, nearly 1,000 people gathered at the event to celebrate their shared values of freedom and patriotism.

The atmosphere at Freedom Fest was nothing short of electric, with music _lling the air, delicious food wafting through the crowd, and the sound of freedom ringing loud and clear as the largest _reworks display in eastern Arkansas _lled the skies for over an hour.

Attendees were even able to sign petitions to support various causes, reminding us all of the importance of civic engagement and standing up for what we believe in.

One of the most inspiring aspects of the event was seeing individuals from all walks of life come

together, putting aside their differences to celebrate the principles that unite us. Political affiliations were set aside as the community banded together in a show of solidarity and love for their country.

The West Memphis Police and Fire Departments were on hand to ensure the safety of all attendees. Their presence was a subtle reminder of the sacrifices made by first responders every day to protect our freedoms and way of life.

In the face of division and discord, the people of West Memphis showed that when we come together in unity and love for our country, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. As we look towards the future and especially this November, let us remember the spirit of Freedom Fest and strive to build a better, more united America for all.
