WMPD seeks 2 in residential burglary
Video captures pair of suspects
ralphhardin@gmail.com The West Memphis Police Department is putting its new DIVRT initiative to use, posting a surveilance video of a robbery on the WMPD Facebook page in hopes that the public can aid investigators.
West Memphis Police are seeking information about a burglary that occurred on Jan. 13, at approximately 9:20 a.m. The video shows two black male suspects approaching and then entering a private residence on Burns Street.
The pair broke into the storage shed closet under the carport by prying off the lock. The suspects took several items, including multiple guns, an air compressor and a battery charger, carrying the items around the north side of the house and walking east through a field toward Hamilton Street.
The suspects wore distinctive hooded sweatshirts with writing on them. One, a hooded gray sweatshirt, appeared to have a pink deer on it. The other, a black hooded sweatshirt, had “LUXE RICH” printed on it. One suspect wore a red-and-black “Atlanta” baseball cap.
