WM Area Alumnae to host Back-to-School Kickoff

Free school supplies, lunch at special event

ralphhardin@gmail.com The West Memphis Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., along with the Bethel Community Development Corporation, will be putting on a “Back-2-School Kickoff” on Saturday Aug. 6.

The special event will take place from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Bethel AME Church, located at 2403 E.

Barton Ave., in West Memphis.

“Let’s kick off the new school year with information on bullying, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), literacy and more,” say the Alumnae.

School supplies will be given away, and there will be a lunch provided. For more information, visit the Alumnae web site online at www.wmaacdst.org.
