Make- up game scheduled for today at 1: 15 p. m.

MLB.com ST. LOUIS — Tuesday's game between the Padres and Cardinals at Busch Stadium was postponed due to inclement weather, with a makeup game scheduled for 1:15 p.m.

CT (11:15 a.m. PT) on Wednesday.

With heavy rain, lightning and gusting winds in the area, the game was delayed just before first pitch. The adverse weather did not arrive until about an hour and a half after that.

No pitchers have been officially announced for Wednesday's doubleheader. Colin Rea was originally slated to start Tuesday for the Padres, with Carlos Martinez scheduled for the Cardinals.
