AWM starts memoral fund to help aspiring educators

The Academies of West Memphis (West Memphis High School) has started a memorial fund at Ouachita Baptist University in honor of Jim and Rachel Waggener Pool and in memory of their daughter, Riley Gray Pool. Riley has come from a long line of excellent educators, and now she will have a chance to be a part of the teaching world by inspiring and molding new educators with this fund. This fund will allow education candidates to attend a conference at the Ron Clark Academy. This conference will greatly impact students' instructional journeys by allowing them to continue to acquire knowledge and skills in order to become extraordinary educators. To donate money online to the Riley Gray Pool Memorial Fund: 1) Go to Ouachita's homepage, www.obu.edu.

2) Click on the word, Donate.

3) In the instructions section, make sure to designate your donation to the Riley Gray Pool Memorial Fund or the fund number 2867172.
