AWM top students recognized at Honors Banquet

West Memphis School District The Academies of West Memphis wrapped up its honors awards with the annual Honors Banquet Monday night at the school's cafeteria.

Senior Katherine Reece was announced as the Class of 2016 valedictorian while the salutatorians went to twin brothers Bryan and Ryan Conston.

with honors and being in the top 10 percent. Senior guidance counselor LaTarsha Johnson presided over the evening, which was capped with a delicious meal catered by Melissa's Classic Catering.

Principal Gary Jackson closed the event with some words of encouragement to the honor grads.
