Problems with your mail delivery?

Share

R esidents across the First Congressional District rely on the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to deliver essential items such as utility bill payments, life-saving medications, mortgage payments, birthday cards, and more. However, the USPS mail service has steadily deteriorated to the point where I am seeking the community’s assistance in resolving the issue.

I hear about issues with the post office constantly and the problem seems to have only gotten worse, which is why I am asking the community for its help.

Addressing these mail problems will require significant data and direct input from residents, businesses, and local government entities.

Anyone experiencing delayed mail contact his office at (870) 203-0540.

First-Class mail should be delivered in 3-5 days. If your mail is delayed past this timeframe, please inform us as soon as possible, and keep the envelope or outer packaging that contained your mail.

Most mail pieces have postmarks and barcodes that provide critical data that will help the USPS identify systemic problems delaying the mail process. Staff members in the Crawford office will guide residents through the process of capturing images of this information and sending them to his office. With robust community participation helping us gather information to send to USPS leadership, we will be one step closer to receiving our mail in a timely manner.
