Since opening in 2006, Fenter Physical Therapy has grown substantially. Over the past several years, they have increased the size of their Marion location by 30% to add more space and equipment. In 5 years they have grown from only 4 employees to nearly 40 full/part- time employees.
In 2012 they expanded into West Memphis to open, Delta Orthopaedics Sports Medicine Rehab Institute. With over 10,000 square feet of space, Delta Orthopaedics is Eastern Arkansas’ only combined physical therapy and orthopaedic surgery office. It is also the home to Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr.
Michael Hood.
The Delta Orthopaedic office is the only location in Eastern Arkansas that offers a pain free exercise option through aquatic therapy and aquatic aerobics. These classes are available at various times throughout the week for everyone in the Delta community.
Just last year they opened two new outpatient locations in Northeast Arkansas. One in Brinkley, AR and one in Forrest City, AR.
Fenter Physical Therapy’s home health physical therapy services continue to grow in eastern Arkansas to serve individuals who are home bound. Their team of home health therapist cover over a 100 mile radius in Eastern Arkansas stretching from West Memphis, Marion, Wynne, Forrest City, Brinkley, Dewitt, Augusta all the way to West Helena, Ar and everywhere in between Their FASTER program was developed to give student athletes an advantage over their competitors. The advanced sport specific training and regiments are for aspiring athletes and weekend warriors of all ages. Fenter Physical Therapy continues to provide a certified Athletic Trainer to serve West Memphis, Marion and ASU Mid-South athletics. The Athletic Trainer provides
onsite practice and game coverage for the schools as well as full time access for injured athletes. Fenter Physical Therapy continues to serve West Memphis and Forrest City school districts to provide school based pediatric physical therapy for students in need.
Fenter Physical Therapy serves as the lead therapy team for Schneider National through ATLAS Ergonomics in West Memphis. Jerry and Sara are trained ergonomic specialists that provide ergonomic training in a variety of settings such as industrial, office, trucking and more.
They were honored by Business Leader Magazine as one of the “Top 300 Small Businesses of the Year” for the southern region in 2012. This award is given based on revenue growth, business achievement, positive impact on local economy and making a difference in the greater community They were awarded Small Business of the Year of the Marion Chamber in 2013 and Small Business of the Year of West Memphis Chamber in 2014.
Fenter Physical Therapy, LLC prides itself in its community involvement. They are involved in both Chamber of Commerce boards. Jerry Fenter sits on the West Memphis Chamber board and is chair of Leadership Crittenden County. Jerry was also past president of the West Memphis Chamber. He was awarded Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year in 2011 and 2013. Jerry's wife and business partner, Sara Fenter sits on Marion Chamber board and is chair of advertising and promotions. Fenter Physical Therapy, LLC was the signature sponsor for the Marion Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet this past year and a Platinum Level sponsor for the Marion 5K Family Fun Run that is an annual event the past 3 years.
Fenter Physical Therapy, LLC provides representative, LeAnn Cole, for the Marion Rotary Club, as well. Jerry and Sara provide a scholarship for students at the local community college in West Memphis, ASU MidSouth. They donate their services through athletic training to local high school sport programs. They are sponsors for both the Marion Youth Sports Association (MYSA) and Boys and Girls Club of West Memphis. They support local summer baseball programs for the High Schools in their community. They are involved in the local Delta Arts program and participate in the annual Janine Earney Carnival fundraiser.
Jerry and Sara strive to give back to the community in many ways to organizations such as Eighth Street Mission, Good Neighbor Center, and the YoungLife Christian organization in the community. They have participated and donated to Relay for Life campaign to raise money for Cancer Awareness and Cure. Jerry sits on the Advisory board for Fidelity National Bank in West Memphis, Ar. Fenter Physical Therapy, LLC strives to support the children and youth of Crittenden county by supporting programs such as Literacy in the Schools, for local elementary programs, After Prom 'Senior Celebration', to keep the seniors safe and making smart decisions, and local church camp donations to provide for children and young adults that can't financial afford to participate. Fenter Physical Therapy is dedicated to their community and wants to help it flourish in the years to Now with 4 outpatient locations, and a large presence throughout the Mid-South, Fenter Physical Therapy is more equipped than ever to “Strengthen the Delta”.
The team at Fenter PT is looking forward to the future and what they will be able to do for those living in the Delta and beyond.
