Party like it’s 1929 at the Junior Auxiliary ‘Gatsby Gala’
Music, food, live auction, more highlight Saturday night affair
ralphhardin@gmail.com “Ain’t no party like a Gatsby party, ‘cause a Gatsby party don’t stop… until two people are dead and everyone’s disillusioned with the Jazz Age.” Well, funny Internet memes aside, the Junior Auxiliary of Crittenden County will be bringing back the Roaring Twenties this weekend with the Gatsby Gala, a night of fun, featuring live music, food, a raffle, live auction and more.
The Junior Auxiliary depends on fundraiser events such as these to fund annual service projects. Sponsorships, community support and fundraisers like the Gatsby Gala provide opportunity to work with children in the area and serve those in need in Crit- tenden County.
The Gatsby Gala, the first of what JACC hopes will become an annual event, will take place this Saturday evening at 6 p.m., at Southland Park Gaming & Racing. As part of the festivities, there will be a drawing for an EZ GO Golf Cart. Tickets are $25 each and all proceeds will go toward the JACC’s ongoing mission of helping the children of Crittenden County.
Tickets are on sale now.
You do not have to be present to win the golf cart.
Raffle tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at Barton Powersports, Greenway Equipment, and
the Merry Magnolia.
For more information, contact JAcrittenden@JAcrittenden. org, or find the Junior Auxiliary of Crittenden County on Facebook, and put on your knickerbockers or your flapper dress and have a ball at the ball for a great cause.
