Happy Hour Club The Happy Hour Club met at the First United Methodist Church last Monday where they enjoyed a potluck luncheon.
Becky Knapp, president, presided.
Rev. Tony Wells gave the St. Patrick’s day devotional titled “I’m The Glory Of God.” The group sang “Down At The Cross” led by Rev. Wells and accompanied by Jane Speed. The tables carried out the St. Patrick’s Day theme.
Others present were Janis Lancaster, Adria Roberts, Dot McKinney, Jimmie Barham, Joanna McLamore, J. W. Ellis, Dean Ryan, Sue Dorman, Doris Gately, Johnny Jackson and Sue Ann Elms.

Pot Luck Lunch
Members of the Earle Baptist Church held a pot luck luncheon last Sunday following the worship service to honor Rev. Ibsan Lasmanto, his wife Eni and their sons Rapha and Raba. Rapha is nine years and Raba is four. Their home is in Indonesia. At the preset time Rev. Lasmonto is attending Mid-America Seminary in Cordova, Tennessee where he plans to get his doctorate.
Rev. Lasmanto and his family sang “Trust and Obey” accompanied by Rev. Lasmanto on the guitar.
A total of 40 attended the luncheon from Earle, Wynne, Marion, Jonesboro and Memphis.

39er’s Dine
The 39er’s of the Earle Baptist Church had dinner at Asian Fusion in West Memphis recently.
Included were Adria and Mark Roberts, Becky and Larry Miller, Christine Littlejohn, Jerry Wayne Carter, Kay and Rev. Bill Watt, Vickey and Rev.
Tony Wells.

Music Coterie
The Earle Music Coterie will meet at the Earle Methodist Church March 21 at 7 p.m.
Several students of Dr. J.
D. Kelly of Jonesboro will present the program with selections of piano music.
Co-host are Janis Lancaster and Mary Jo Staggs.
Everyone is invited to attend.
