hbacond7@aol.com Horseshoe Lake Baptist Church News Horseshoe Lake Baptist Church would like to invite you and your family and friends to a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 16, at 241 Lake Estates Dr.

from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The Church is celebrating two years as your local Baptist Church for the Horseshoe Lake Community. In December 2018, the church became debt free and was able to purchase the lot(s) next door to the church for plans of future growth. Please come and enjoy the food and fellowship at the Church. *** Neighborhood Watch The next Neighborhood Watch Meeting is scheduled for March 22, at 6 p.m. at the Surf Club Building. If you have any questions contact Rebecca Kraft at 870-494-2272.

*** Easter Egg Hunt The Horseshoe Lake Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the new park located next to City Hall on Highland Drive, on Saturday, April 6, at 1 p.m. The Easter Bunny will make a visit, so if you like, bring a camera. Anyone wishing to donate eggs, candy or who would like more information, should contact Marsha Siders at 870-394-2476.

The Horseshoe Lake Ladies Bunco March meeting was held at the home of Lethia Jo Cupples. This month’s hostess was Jeanine Stewart. The mostbig buncos and high score went to Jeanine Stewart.

Donna Culver had low score for the evening and Pat Walters had Travelers Pillow at the end of the night. The ladies enjoyed Taco Salad with all the side trimmings and Fried Oreo Cookies.

Horseshoe Lake Volunteer Fire Department statements have been sent out. The annual dues are $50.00 per house. Payments may be mailed to: HLVFD c/o 174 Highland Dr., Horseshoe Lake, AR 72348. If you have sold or acquired a property since last year (March 2018), it would be helpful if you could contact Carol Adams at City Hall during business hours, with the correct name and billing address. The number to City Hall is 870-339-3104.
