Martha Jane McClanahan, 78, of West Memphis died Sunday, March 10, 2019, in Springdale, Arkansas.

Mrs. McClanahan was a faithful member of the West Memphis First Baptist Church, and she was a beloved school teacher for the West Memphis School District.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff Buchanan and Mary Buchanan Dones; her husband, John Baker McClanahan Sr.; and a sister, Melissa Buchanan.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Rogerson (Kirk) of Springdale,; two sons, Baker McClanahan (Tara) of Mechanicsville, Virginia and Jeff McClanahan (Pam) of West Memphis; a sister Christy Collier of Wynne; five grandchildren, Kennedy McClanahan, Kristin and Connor Rogerson, Maddie and Katie McClanahan.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas with services at 11 on Friday, March 15, 2019, at the West Memphis First Baptist Church with entombment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
