If you really think that “Big John” won’t be recognized for his vital role in the 40plus years of success that the Shake Shack (or Tacker's, or Tastee-Freeze, or Big John’s) has had, then you’re really underestimating the common sense and common courtesy that the folks involved in this whole deal have. It’s important to note, assuming you read the article, that the nomination was made to the proprietor, which is Miss Loretta, as John is no longer with us. How about being excited about the news and not so quick to go into rage mode?] PLEASE PUT THIS IN YOUR PAPER!!!! TO THE PARENTS OF THE KIDS WHO WALK ON HICKORY AT WILLOW— THE GERMAN SHEPHERD IN THE FENCED YARD ON THE CORNER “CAN JUMP THE FENCE”!!!! WATCHED IT DO IT TODAY WHEN OWNER’S SON WAS TRYING TO BREAK UP A DOG FIGHT IN THEIR YARD!!!

BOY WAS SENT TO LEBONHEUR FOR SEVERAL BITES ON HIS ARM!!!! I HAVE WATCHED BOYS THROWING ROCK AT IT AND IF YOU PARENT’S DON’T STEP UP, YOUR CHILD COULD BE NEXT!!! PRAYING FOR THE BOY, JUST HAPPY 3 OF THE DOGS INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT LIVE AT THAT HOUSE!!!!!!!. I HEARD HIS SCREAMS AND COULD CALL 911. PLEASE, PLEASE WARN YOUR KIDS!!! [Editor’s Note: Clearly you are concerned, as you sent this in all caps, so I will be sure to share this. I certainly don’t want anyone to get attacked by a dangerous dog. I hope, though, that in addition to the warning you sent us that someone notified Animal Control or the police department] *** I don’t know who or where you are getting your paper printed now but your color is worse now than I have ever seen it just saying [Editor's Note: I actually thought the color in the paper had been much better lately. I suppose the pictures from the Jeff Jones and Chris Brogdon retirement ceremonies were darkish, but that was really from the photos not the printing. I will keep an eye on it though and pass the word to the production department about your concerns]
