Lady Devils take 3rd in GCT Classic

West Memphis 2- 1 over weekend play

WM School District The West Memphis Lady Devils won two of three games over the weekend to finish in third place in the Greene County Tech Classic.

Senior center Ty Bullins pumped in a team-high 13 points on Thursday to give the Lady Devils a 44-36 win over Mountain Home.

On Friday, Springdale Har-Ber defeated the Lady Devils 41-27, but the West Memphis girls closed out the tourney blasting Paragould 41-30.

In the win over Mountain Home, the Lady Devils (42) also got 11 points from Keara Williams, 7 from Taylor Johnson and 6 from Paris Perkins.

Bullins led the Lady Devils again against Har-Ber with 10 points while Perkins and Johnson scored 6 and 5 respectively.

In the victory over Paragould, Johnson poured in four three-pointers on her way to a game-high 16 points. Bullins added 7 for the Lady Devils and Perkins scored 6.

The West Memphis girls will play their first conference game Tuesday night at Nettleton.
