• Upward Basketball & Cheerleading — Marion First Baptist Church is holding registrations for the upcoming 2016-2017 Upward Basketball and Upward Cheerleading season. Upward is a Christcentered youth sports program that stresses fundamentals and teamwork. Upward gives youngsters a spiritual foundation while offering exercise and friendly competition in a supportive environment. Play is open to boys and girls age kindergarten through 5th grade. To sign up, visit the FBC Marion office during regular business hours, or go online to firstmarion.org for more information. Each child will be evaluated via a skills test for placement on a team. Volunteer coaches and referees are needed.
