• Local high school football — Earle travels to across the state to play the England Lions in the Class 2A State Quarterfinals on Friday night. The game will kick at 7 p.m., with the winner advancing to the “Final Four” of the Class 2A State Football playoffs. England is 13-0 on the season. Earle is 9-3.

• JW Rich Girls Club Basketball — Time is running out to sign up for the upcoming 2016-2017 basketball season at the JW Rich Girls Club. Registration ended Nov. 19, but late sign-up may be made on a “space available” basis. Teams are forming now for the news season, open to girls ages 5 to 16, across four different age groups. The cost to play is $50, plus an additional $50 for girls that have not already paid their annual membership dues. The JW Rich Girls Club is located at 519 Shoppingway Blvd. in West Memphis, behind Calvary Baptist Church. Team sponsorship spots are available.
