Jonesboro tops WM

WM School District The West Memphis Lady Devil volleyball team dropped its 6A-East Conference opener Tuesday at Lehr Arena, falling in straight sets to Jonesboro.

The Lady Hurricane took the match 25-15, 25-7 and 25-10.

Sophomore Anna Nelson led the Lady Devil attack with three kills while adding eight digs.

Eva Pouncey, a senior, and sophomore Cameran Aaron both had two assists. Grace Prater paced the defensive effort with 11 digs.
