LITTLE ROCK — As 2016 dawned, our nation took in in such news events as Taiwan electing its first female president, Serena Williams being upset in the Australian Open — and the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery's launch of its $20 instant ticket, the $1,000,000 Golden Ticket with four $1 million-dollar prizes.
In February, Lonnie Fay May of McRae became the first millionaire on this ticket when he purchased his top-prize winning $1,000,000 Golden Ticket at Miraj Flash Market in McRae. Then, in April, Jo Jones of Lonoke won $1,000,000 on the Golden Ticket, after eyeing the ticket at Lonoke Shell, and deciding to “go for it.” Were we ever so young?
Now, with autumn of 2016 coming on, two million-dollar prizes still remain to be claimed on this game — which leads the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to ask: “Who's got the Golden Tickets?”
About the $1,000,000 Golden Ticket The $1,000,000 Golden Ticket is an instant ticket launched January 5th, 2016. In addition to the two $1 million prizes remaining on this ticket, more than $7.3 million in other cash prizes remain on this ticket. The entire amount of prizes still remaining on the $1,000,000 Golden Ticket totals $9,396,035. (All prizes remaining are estimated according to winning tickets that have already been claimed. The ASL cannot determine how many winning tickets may be lost or purchased but as of yet remain unclaimed. All win combinations for each prize amount have been combined into the same prize tier row. Prizes remaining are updated daily.)
