ASip-and-See baby shower was held at the First Assembly of God church for Tracey Rodgers and her daughter Tegan Elizabeth who was born July 25.
Co-hosts was the Women’s Ministry.
Refreshments included pick up food, Muddys cup cakes and punch.
Family members present were Barbara Barnes of Bono, Terre Rodgers, Mary Jane Edwards and Linda Jo Branch of Earle, Cindy Dickey of Bella Vista and Angela Shepard of Wynne.
Judy Cook also attended from Bono.
*** The United Methodist Women met at the Morrison Fellowship Hall recently where they enjoyed a soup supper with corn bread and ice cream and cup cakes for dessert.
Jane Speed gave the devotional on the Beatitudes.
Among those present were Mary Jane Edwards, who presided as president, Becky Knapp, Dot McKinney, Laura Pritchard, Allison Bird, Coretta Allen and daughter Jaymia and Sue Dorman who was recognized as having an August birthday.
*** The Canasta Club met at the home of Lou Burns in Marked Tree recently.
Mary Jane Edwards of Earle won high score, Judy Tacker Sharp of Marked Tree won second, Kim Fraley of Crawfordsville won low, Terre Rodgers of Earle won bingo and others present were Bobby Estes of Jonesboro and Debbie Franks of Tyronza.
*** Sue Ann Elms recent visitors included Kathy Smith, Christina and Anthony English and sons Liam and Levi, Sydney and Phillip Gangluff of Cabot, Staci Fitzgerald of North Little Rock, Sinthey Ann Breyel of Lewisville, Texas, Becky and Grady Gennings, Eric Elms and Corey Lewis of Memphis and Kim Huxtable of Nashville, Tennessee.
*** Allison White joined Cathy White, Debbie Shivers, Blake Swan, Valerie England, Nicholas England and Ann Marotti for a week vacation in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
*** Jessica and Jerry Wayne White and daughter Ashley spent several days in New Orleans, Louisiana, recently. *** Vickey and Rev. Tony Wells along with their daughter and son in law, Tanya and Bobby Pate, were in Vandalia, Illinois recently to attend the 1st birthday party of Gabriella Lynn Pate daughter of Kaitlyn and Bobby Jr. Pate of Vandalia.
While in Vandalia they visited the Vandalia State House which is where the Illinois state capitol was located for 1836-1839 and Abraham Lincoln began his political career.
*** Rev. Tony Wells was in Wynne Monday to visit residents at River Ridge Rehabilitation Facility. While there he presented a devotional and sung traditional gospel songs. Among those visited were Louise Hood, Annie Fisher, Joyce Stepp and Mary Vogel of Earle.
*** Vickey and Rev. Tony Wells were in Advance, Missouri recently where they met family members for lunch and then visited in the home of Freida (Miller) and Paul Bitterman. Family members meeting for lunch were siblings of Vickey’s late father, Freeman Miller. Family members present included Eileen and Vernon Miller of Jackson, Missouri, Barbara and Hershel Miller of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Kathryn Miller of Jackson, Missouri.
