Fan day at USA set for Sunday
Event to run from 2- 4: 30 p. m. at Razorback Stadium
UA Media Relations FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Despite cooler conditions and light rain in the forecast, Arkansas’ annual Fan Day presented by Pepsi will still run as originally scheduled from 2-4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The event will be held at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and is open to the public and free for fans of all ages. Fans are permitted to bring umbrellas to fan day.
The event will be held at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and is open to the public and free for fans of all ages. Parking is free and available in Lots 44, 46, 56, 56B, 60, 72, 73, 73A, Stadium Drive Parking Deck and Meadow Street Parking Garage.
Gates will open at 2 p.m., and fans are asked to enter through Gates 1, 12 and 16. Members of the Junior Razorbacks will receive early entry into the stadium beginning at 1:45 p.m. at Gate 15N on the east side of the stadium. Fans can register their child online to become a Junior Razorbacks Club member.
Fans in attendance can pick up a commemorative poster and are invited to receive autographs from Coach Bielema and their favorite Razorbacks. In order to expedite the autograph process and accommodate as many fans as possible, please note Coach Bielema and players will autograph one item per person.
The Golden Boot, Battle Line Rivalry and 2016 AutoZone Liberty Bowl trophies will be on display and available for photographs with fans.
The Razorback soccer and volleyball teams will be signing autographs on the East and West Concourses on their official team posters. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet the Razorback Spirit Squads and Tusk.
In addition, a kid zone will feature inflatables on the field plus other fan activities throughout the concourses, including a photo booth, free face painting, free caricature sketches and balloon art.
Hog Heaven, the official team store of Razorback Athletics, will be open inside the stadium on the South Concourse during the event and will have items to purchase such as footballs, mini helmets and hats to be autographed.
Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the concourse. No outside food or drinks, other than bottled water, will be allowed inside the stadium. The Razorbacks open the 2016 season against Louisiana Tech on Sept. 3 at Razorback Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. CST on the SEC Network.
Fans interested in season tickets for all six home games can take a tour of available inventory by visiting the ticket information tables located on the East Concourse. Limited club seats are still available for the 2016 season. Call 479575-4831 to book an appointment today.
