Marion schools announce staff incentive programs for 2025-26

District investing $1.23 million to ensure a high-quality staff

As part of its ongoing commitment to recruit and retain outstanding educators, the Marion School District is launching a pair of incentive programs for the 2025-26 school year.

The _rst is a recruitment/ retention program that will provide bonuses for all eligible staff for up to 4 percent of each individual’s salary, depending on their role and contract. The bonuses will be paid out in two installments, one on August 30, 2025, and the other on March 15, 2026.

Additionally, the district is announcing a stipend program for special education teachers. This program will provide stipends ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 for qualifying teachers, based on their certi_cation and classroom role. In total, these two incentive programs reect an investment of more than $1.23 million by the Marion School District in its staff.
