Tears of a clown

P agliacci is a famous Italian opera by Ruggero Leoncavallo, about a clown who has a notable solo about crying; the lyrics of one line declares: “Turn the spasms and tears into jokes.” And that – both literally as well as figuratively is what is presently at work in the media and by liberal activists working for the government and the private sector as well.

Every day it is out there. Because, while I see their pretend tears, all I hear from these clowns are jokes.

For there is absolutely nothing that they say that even approaches the threshold of truth, just like the last four years under the Biden administration – when we all felt like we were all under foreign occupation by a third-world Marxist banana republic cranking out propaganda from their Ministry of Truth, like the authoritarian society in his novel, ‘1984,’ which George Orwell envisioned.

There are so-o-o-o many instances, I cannot possibly recount all that is spilling out of these people who paint tears under on their eyes over clown makeup, acting as if they are sorely aggrieved at things that either never have happened, or that they imagine happened and did not as well.

#1-Hysterical Pronouncements: Here are just some examples of what I mean: A liberal looney-tune calling herself a ‘reverend,’ a Mariann Budde, asked Trump in Washington, D.C. to change his approach on immigration and LGBTQ rights – like he had not just received both the electoral college and popular vote majority to pursue ending precisely those agendas by the American people.

Only, I actually read my Bible so I know the scripture that during the church era there would be those who would deceive the very elect of God – if it were possible. These individuals portray things as it is the end of the world as we know it, which of course is laughable.

#2-Illegal Immigration lies: Paid opinionator, Jake Tapper, from CNN acts like he knows what he’s talking about, Only, he does not. Like when he insisted recently on air that America needs illegal aliens to grow our food and pick our crops.

Somebody should have notified Tapper that we have a guest worker program, and only a tiny percentage of illegal aliens living here actually work in agriculture. Tapper has no facts … and indeed, has obviously chosen to not do any research on the subject whatsoever.

For instance, after just cursory search, I found on this information on the official USDA site under the topic ‘Farm Labor.’ Have a look: “More Farmworkers Are Settled, Fewer Are Migrants” “Eighty three percent of hired crop farmworkers are not migrant workers but are considered settled, meaning that they work at a single location within 75 miles of their home. This share is up from 41 percent in 1996–98, reflecting a profound change in the nature of the crop farm workforce.

“Among the small share of remaining migrant workers, the largest group is “shuttlers,” who work at a single farm location more than 75 miles from home and may cross an international border to get to their worksite. Shuttlers made up about 9 percent of hired crop farmworkers in 2022, down from about 24 percent in 1996–98.

“More common in the past, the “follow the crop” migrant farmworker, who moves from State to State working on different crops as the seasons advance, is now a relative rarity. These workers made up just 4 percent of those surveyed by the NAWS in 2020–22, down from a high of 14 percent in 1992–94.

“The final category of hired crop farmworkers is newcomers to farming, whose migration patterns have not yet been established. The fact that they now represent just 3.6 percent of the crop farm workforce, down from as much as 22 percent in 1998–2000.”

3.6 percent … wow! That’s a mighty hefty bunch of agricultural workers, huh?

Not exactly the end of the world if they were not here.

Just sayin’. Only, Selena Gomez, the Disney child-star posted a crying jag on the internet of her saying that the government was getting rid of ‘her people’ by deporting them.

But, where was Selena when Bill Clinton deported 12 million illegals.

Or, when Obama deported 3 million illegals.

You see, Trump only sent out 1 million in his first term.

But, Selena sees fit to shed tears NOW for ‘her people,’ as she calls them.

You know… ‘her people,’ who trafficked 300,000 minors who were sex-traded, or forced into manual labor or both, killed tens of thousands with fentanyl poisoning, gang members killing, raping, robbing, and doing the crimes that Americans just won’t do (as they say.)FYI Selena deleted her posting when it didn’t float …like at all … anywhere … by anybody.

Like that. How about some headlines from other internet sites that you simply won’t believe?

I know I didn’t! “California Democrat Proposes Legislation to Sue Oil Companies Over Wildfires That Had NOTHING to Do With Them.”

Or this, which we just found out about: “Biden Regime Reportedly Set to Send $50 Million in Taxpayer Money to Fund Condom Distribution in Gaza, White House Says.”

How ‘bout this one? “Hilarious: Federal Employees Sue Because They Don’t Want to Get Emails From the Boss.” And this: “Anonymous Feds Use Reddit Post to Challenge Trump’s Government-Wide Email System.” These are about government lefties who don’t want the boss to know when they are at work, and are suing in court to keep Trump from telling them anything – even though they serve at his pleasure!

Or, again – talking about misinformed illegal alien folks … and how we’re all going to starve to death if illegals don’t stay and harvest our food. Take this one-please! “Democrat Strategist Jenna Arnold Personifies Liberal Elitist Attitude on Illegals “I Can’t Wait Until American Women Can’t Get Blueberries for Their Smoothies.”

And the crazies just keep o-o-o-o-n a-coming!
