What’s wrong with drug testing teachers?

I find it difficult to understand how you liberals justify such issues as thinking illegal aliens have a right to mooch off the American system, how you condemn efforts to protect our border from drug dealers, criminals and freeloaders.

And Ralph, how is it that you liberals support the idea of voters not being required to properly identify themselves during elections or condoning non-U.S. citizens voting in our elections?

You favor abortions, now even up to the time of birth, legalizing drugs, the condemnation of our history and the elimination of anything that depicts our past, such as the Confederacy and on and on and on.

Liberals such as yourself, Ralph, have turned our colleges and universities into your breeding grounds for promoting hate and disrespect for my country’s core values and beliefs.

You have promoted the creation of a phony media that is nothing more than a lap dog to your liberal and socialist causes and made a mockery of fair and balanced journalism.

What’s also disgusting is that Washington has become a political cesspool and hijacked by a bunch of far left politicians who have an agenda to destroy conservatism with absolutely no concern for the good of this country or those they supposedly serve.

With that said, Ralph, let’s take a closer look at what’s happening right here in Arkansas, particularly among some of our liberal politicians in Little Rock. A particular piece of legislation that has been sent to Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson to sign into law will now allow a school board to implement a drug-screening requirement for an applicant or existing employee of a public school district.

As expected the very liberal Sen. Joyce Elliott, D-Little Rock, who is a retired teacher, said, “There must be probable cause and in no way has there been any demonstration that there is a probable cause for testing teachers. “This is just one more indignity to which teachers will have to submit to get to teach our kids,” she said.

Now then, Ralph, this is an absolutely typical response from the left when you know as well as I do that she can’t honestly say that there is no way has there been any use of teachers using drugs especially if there hasn’t been any requirement for them to be tested until now.

You also know as well as I do, Ralph, that every major private business or industry has some type of drug policy in place to ensure the safety of that company and its employees. How absolutely ridiculous it is for this outspoken liberal Democrat make such an assertion.

Oh, but Ralph, I’ve got another example of liberalism at its best. There was another piece of legislation that thankfully fell short of votes that would remove symbolism for the Confederacy from the state flag. I have to say though that I was somewhat disappointed in Hutchinson saying he supports the idea.

There are those leftist that want to change the meaning of flag elements so that the blue star above “Arkansas” honors the state’s native peoples, rather than the Confederate States of America.

Isn’t it time the liberal leftists among us stop trying to erase history, eliminate any sign, symbol or statue that reflects a very important part of our past and why, all of a sudden, is what is being torn down so bad today when for decades no one found this offensive, racist or anything other than a reflection of our history and those who were part of it?
