Rosemary Elizabeth “Rosey” Sayre

Rosemary Elizabeth “Rosey” Sayre, a longtime resident of Proctor, passed away Friday, Jan. 4,2019, at the West Memphis Rehabilitation Facility. Rosemary was 65. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Carl Sayre, Sr.

Rosey had one child, Carl “Sonny” Sayre, Jr. that she lost in a racing accident at Tunica Speedway several years ago. Rosey loved her family, her flowers, her friends, and Christmas time In addition to her husband; she is survived by one brother, Dwight Griffin, of Baton Rouge; and quite a number of nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crittenden Memorial Park, Marion.
