City boards set to meet next week

Recent news has some residents of the City of Marion up in arms, with concerns about rumors with trouble in the Marion Police Department and a recent issue on a Marion school bus.

For those not in the know, the following meetings are planned for next week:

• Marion City Council – Meeting 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22, and the fourth Tuesday each month

• Marion School Board – Meeting 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, and the fourth Thursday each month.

Meetings are open to the public.
