Coy B. Rimmer

Coy B. Rimmer, 95, of West Memphis passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9,2019, in Jonesboro. Mr. Rimmer was born Aug. 3, 1923, to the late Johnny and Alma Rimmer. I He was a plant superintendent at Norton Manufacturing in Memphis and a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church and of the Masons.

Mr. Rimmer is survived by one son, John Rimmer (Christine) of Marion; three grandchildren, Terry Griffin (Shane), Tammy Charlton (Jason) and John 'Danny” Rimmer Jr; 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred McClain of Lexa; one brother, Troy Rimmer of Paragould; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Alma Rimmer; wife of 73 years, Dorothy Rimmer; and three sisters, Chestine Huckaba, Christine Holland, and Ruth Hendrix.

Funeral services for Coy Rimmer were held Friday, Jan. 10,2019, at Roller- Citizens Funeral Home.

Visitation was held prior to services. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena. Reverend Lance Madden officiated.
