UALR News Service LITTLE ROCK — Mallory Floyd of Marion recently received the Dean's Certificate of Public Service from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H.
Bowen School of Law during the inaugral Bowen Awards ceremony for the 2017-2018 school year.
In support of Bowen's core value of public service, the Dean's Certificate of Public Service works to encourage students to make community service part of their professional lives. Projects benefit the Little Rock community, and are completed outside of the students' educational, career, and familial responsibilities.
Students who completed 300 hours of public service during this period and are in good standing were awarded the Dean's Certificate of Distinguished Service.
With about 11,000 students and 100 programs, UA Little Rock offers learning, research, service, social and career opportunities that can only be found at a metropolitan university located in Arkansas' capital city.
