Last month on Veteran's Day, Mrs. Leigh Huges' kindergarten class at Avondale Elementary School celebrated their favorite Army veteran, Mr. James Sharp. Quote from Mrs. Hughes: 'Mr. Sharp is very special to us. I loved hearing my kids tell him sweet things about protecting us and for being brave. I don't know who enjoyed it the most.' Mr. Sharp continues to be a hero as a very hard working custodian at Avondale.
