Bowl season is about to kick off and many teams from the SEC have earned the right to play an extra game this season. Here is a preview of dates and times for upcoming bowl matchups, including Alabama’s semi-playoff game in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl Peach Bowl.
St. Petersburg Bowl-Miami (OH) vs.
Mississippi State The Mississippi State Bulldogs (5-7) will take on the Miami (OH) Red Hawks in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 26th at 10 a.m.
Camping World Independence Bowl- N.C.
State vs. Vanderbilt The Vanderbilt Commodores (6-6) travel to Shreveport, Louisiana looking to finish the season with a winning record as they take on the N.C.
State Wolfpack on December 26th at 4 p.m.
The game will be televised on ESPN2.
AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl- Texas A& M vs.
Kansas State The Texas A& M Aggies (8-4) take on Kansas State (8-4) in Houston, Texas on December 28th at 8 p.m.
on ESPN.
Birmingham Bowl- USF vs. South Carolina The South Carolina Gamecocks (6-6) face off against the South Florida Bulls in Birmingham, Alabama (10-2) on December 29th at 1 p.m.
on ESPN.
Belk Bowl- Arkansas vs.
No. 22 Virginia Tech The Arkansas Razorbacks (7-5) travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to try and earn a bowl win against the No. 22 Virginia Tech Hokies. The Razorbacks and Hokies take the field at 4:30 p.m. on December 29th and will be televised on ESPN.
AutoZone Liberty Bowl-Georgia vs. TCU The Georgia Bulldogs (75) travel to Memphis, Tennessee to face off against the TCU Horn Frogs (6-6) on December 30th at 11 a.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl- Nebraska vs. No. 21 Tennessee The No. 21 Tennessee Volunteers (8-4) take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers (9-3) in Nashville, Tennessee on December 30th at 2:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl- No. 20 LSU vs. No. 13 Louisville The No. 20 LSU Tigers (7-4) travel to Orlando, Florida to take on the No.
13 Louisville Cardinals (93) on December 31st at 10 a.m. This New Year’s Six bowl game will be televised on ABC.
TaxSlayer Bowl- Georgia Tech vs. Kentucky The Kentucky Wildcats (7-5) travel to Jacksonville, Florida to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on December 31st at 10 a.m. This game will be televised on ESPN.
Outback Bowl- No. 17 Florida vs. Iowa The No. 17 Florida Gators (8-4) make a short road trip to Tampa, Florida to face off against the Iowa Hawkeyes on January 2nd at 12:00 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Allstate Sugar Bowl- No.
14 Auburn vs. No. 7 Oklahoma The No. 14 Auburn Tigers (8-4) take on the No. 7 Oklahoma Sooners (10-2) January 2nd on ESPN. The game kicks off in New Orleans, Louisiana at 7:30 p.m.
Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl-No. 1 Alabama vs. No 4.
Washington The undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide (13-0) travel to Atlanta, Georgia to kick off the college football playoffs against the Washington Huskies (121). The playoff game can be viewed on ESPN at 2 p.m. on December 31st.
