It’s beginning to look a lot like ‘Grizzmas’
Grizzlies, RiverKings team up for special promotion
Media Relations Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies and the Mississippi RiverKings are teaming up to host ‘Gritmas Night’ on Friday, Dec. 9 when the RiverKings face off against the Huntsville Havoc at Landers Center in Southaven, Miss.
The RiverKings will wear Grizzlies-inspired uglysweater jerseys to be auctioned off immediately following the game to benefit the RiverKings ReachOut Fund at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi. In addition, Grizzlies players have autographed five of the ugly-sweater jerseys which will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Memphis Grizzlies Foundation. ‘Gritmas’ ingame entertainment will include mascot Grizz, the Grizz Girls, Claw Crew, Blue Bunch, Grannies & Grandpas and the Grizzline.
The teams are offering a combined ticket package for the night that includes one ticket to ‘Gritmas’ and one ticket to the Grizzlies matchup against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, Dec. 16 for $25. To purchase tickets, visit riverkings.com/gritmas.
The RiverKings finish off their four game home stand with two games against the Fayetteville FireAntz at the Landers Center on Nov. 11 and 12.
