Tigers announce buy 1, get 1 for CBU exhibition

November 7 date gets promotion

Special to The Times MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis athletic department today announced promotional activities surrounding the Nov. 7 men's exhibition basketball game against Christian Brothers, including a buy one, get one free ticket offer. Game time is 6:30 p.m. at FedExForum.

This will be the first time that fans will be able to see the 2016-17 Memphis Tigers Men's Basketball team in action since legendary head coach Tubby Smith took over the helm.

Fans can take advantage of a special buy-one, get-onefree ticket deal on Terrace level seats. This two-forone offer is available for the exhibition game on November 7 only.

As part of this combined exhibition game and fan festival, there will be jump castles and a StripeUp station pre-game, while Rock 103 morning show hosts Ditch n' Jake will broadcast live from the plaza.

Following the game, the team will be available for autographs on the 2016-17 men's basketball poster, featuring head coach Tubby Smith.

'This is the first of many exciting nights we will have in the FedExForum this season,' said athletic director Tom Bowen. 'I can't wait for the community to see our basketball program take the floor under the direction of our new head coach and future Hall of Famer, Tubby Smith.'

The Tiger Scholarship Fund will also be hosting an open house seat selection event in conjunction with this game. Interested fans can visit the FedExForum on Monday, November 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There they will receive tickets to 'test-drive' the seats during this game.
