Tigers host Homecoming on Saturday

This weekend is the University of Memphis' 82nd Homecoming celebration, culminating with Saturday's Tigers-Golden Hurricane gridiron matchup.

What makes this year's Homecoming even more unique is Saturday also is the Tigers' annual Pink Game for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The battle against breast cancer is a fight that involves everyone because the disease, in one way or another, touches all. The annual Homecoming Parade will take place on the University of Memphis campus Friday at 5:30 p.m. Click here for more information on the parade, including a map of the parade route.

Game Day Timeline 8:00 a.m. — Parking lots for season pass holders open 12:00 p.m. — Cash parking lots open to general public 12:00 p.m. — Tiger Village open for set up (Memphis Student Tailgate area) 1:00 p.m. — General Ticket Sales/Will Call Windows open at Gate 1 2:00 p.m. — Tickets on sale at Tiger Lane Ticket Towers 4:00 p.m. — Trick-or-Treat check-in begins at the #StripeUp Station on Tiger Lane 4:00 p.m. — Ticket windows open at Gate 3 4:30 p.m. — Tiger Walk on Tiger Lane Near Fountain 5:00 p.m. — Pipkin Hospitality area opens. $10 for Tiger Scholarship Fund, M Club, Alumni Association, 901 Club members and the general public 5:00 p.m. — Memphis Softball team autograph signing 5:00 p.m. — Trick-or-Treating begins on Tiger Lane 5:00 p.m. — Following Tiger Walk, Sound Fuzion will play a pre-game concert 5:30 p.m. — Gates 1-6 and Suites Open 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. – $4 draft beers for the first 45 minutes after gates open 6:00 p.m. — Costume Contest by the Fountain on Tiger Lane 6:15 p.m. — Pep Rally by the Fountain on Tiger Lane 6:40 p.m. — On-Field Pre-Game Begins 7:02 p.m. — Official Kick-Off Time Parking All Blue, Red and Gold Lot Season Parking is SOLD OUT. Alimited number of Tan lot parking passes are on sale at the University of Memphis Ticket Office for $70.00 (901678-2331).

Fans without a season parking pass can purchase game day parking for $15/stall (cash only) in two lots. The Purple Lot (grass lot) is a game day lot. Access to park in the Purple Lot is Access 10 off East Parkway (South). The Tan Lot game day parking can be accessed through Gate 11 only (off Southern). There is no longer access to Tan Lot parking off of Central Avenue.
