Fundamentally Transformed?
Fundamentally Transformed?
‘AWord from the Pastor’ By Clayton Adams
I believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.
I believe God spoke His Word into the heart, of each writer. What was true then is true now and it is true in every culture. By way of confessing, I have not always acted according to my beliefs. When this happens I ask Christ to forgive me, live with the consequences of my actions and move on.
Unfortunately, others are always hurt in some way, our actions always impact others, always. I know Christ forgives but as I wrote previously, forgetting is almost impossible but having the ability to remember (even bad experiences) can serve a good purpose in life.
Throughout God's Word, much may be learned about ourselves from the failures and successes of others we read about.
Through God's divine intervention and power, He turns our human failures into miraculous accomplishments. Romans 8:28 states, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
I've experienced this and this is what I believe.
Our president on numerous occasions has said his goal for our country was to be “fundamentally transformed.” In fact, on October 30 of 2008, just five days before his election as president, President Obama said during a campaign stop in Columbia, Missouri, “Now, Mizzou, I just have two words for you tonight: five days.
Five days. After decades of broken politics in Washington, and eight years of failed policies from George W. Bush, and 21 months of a campaign that's taken us from the rocky coast of Maine to the sunshine of California, we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America…” Planned Parenthood is now and has been selling baby body parts and tissues from these aborted (murdered) babies.
President Obama in April of 2013 concluding a speech to Planned Parenthood, said, “Thank You Planned Parenthood.
God bless you.” This is disgusting in my opinion, asking God to “bless” the killing of babies. Is this the fundamental change President Obama and other political leaders have in mind?
English is not spoken in 20% of the homes in the United States according to Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), report parsed from the United States Census Bureau's 2013 American Community Survey (ACS). The fastest growing languages according to the 2013 report was Arabic and Urdu – Pakistan's national language. Europe is fast changing into an Islamic continent. The most popular name for male children in England is now Mohammed. This change is coming to America.
Regardless of who the next president is, our country will continue the progressive and destructive course it is on. Indeed our culture is enduring strong changes to the very foundations of our nation.
President Obama said our nation is no longer a Christian nation and unfortunately I agree with him.
What Christian nation approves of allowing a baby to be partially born and then cuts the spinal cord to kill the baby (This practice is called partial birth abortion) then sells the baby's body parts or the whole baby?
Systematically every cornerstone, pillar and tower of truth that strengthens our nation are being attack and destroyed. Those who seek to “fundamentally transform” our nation and change our history scorn and ridicule the pillars of honor, service, truth, justice, duty, commerce, faith, government and the most important pillar of our culture, families. At the core of every family is a marriage defined as one man and one woman Steve Blow, columnist for the Dallas Morning News wrote in his column of June 27, 2015, “Beliefs about marriage evolve, even in the Bible” and said “… times change. And so does marriage – in a big way on Friday.” (The United States Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage on a Friday) Human knowledge does change but the Bible never changes. God's Word has not changed and will not change. God's Word does not “evolve.”
The Holy Bible is clear in it's teaching, sin is sin gossip, slander, drunkenness is no less a sin than murder, rape, bank robbery, stealing or having an illicit affair. No matter what we call it, same sex, pride, lying, idolatry or when the little old lady at church gossips and stirs up strife, it is sin, no matter how much good she has done in the past. Not doing what you know you should do and what is right according to the Holy Bible is sin. No matter what we name it or how we try to explain it away, sin is sin. You have sinned and I have sinned. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21; Romans 3:23) I am guilty of sin and I am no better than anyone else. What will keep me and anyone from an eternity in heaven is sin. The cure for all sin is a regenerated heart through the forgiveness of sin by the only One who has lived a sinless life – Jesus Christ.
This is true fundamental transformation and our nation needs this change!
Because I have accepted Christ, daily ask Him to forgive me, I strive to live and conduct my life according to His teachings. I often fail, but when I do I take comfort in the fact that “…He is faithful and just to forgive me of all my sin.” (1 John 1:9) The “fundamental transformation” occurring in our nation is coming from every angle and it is unstoppable. The heart of this transformation and changing of America has never been about equal rights, racial, economic or marriage equality, nor is it a new enlightenment of the human mind.
This fundamental transformation and change has always been about removing God from His position and attempting to replace Him with mankind.
Worshiping the created and ignoring the Creator leads only to destruction and in the end we'll understand what Saint Paul meant when he wrote in Romans 1:22, ”Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”
