Redbirds Set for Final Five-Game Homestand
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Redbirds started their last homestand of the regular season yesterday, playing five games against the Nashville Sounds (Triple-A Athletics) until Sunday.
The Memphis Redbirds start the homestand by teaming up with the Memphis Grizzlies to hold “Grit and Grind Night” and “Choose901 Night” at AutoZone Park on Thursday, Aug. 25, “Habitat for Humanity Night” on Friday, Aug. 26, and “Teacher Appreciation Night” sponsored by Tennessee Lottery on Saturday, Aug. 27. There will be three game-worn jersey auctions that will feature allnew Grizzlies-themed jerseys on Thursday, Habitat for Humanity-themed jerseys on Friday and the Redbirds’ Memphis Chicks jerseys on Saturday.
The Memphis Grizzlies’ Wade Baldwin IV and D.J. Stephens are scheduled to make an appearance on “Grit and Grind Night” and they will be on-hand to sign pregame autographs. For “Habitat for Humanity Night” the Redbirds will donate $4 from every individual Club Level, Dugout and Field Box ticket purchased to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis to assist with their mission in the area.
Papa John’s Score 6 continues during the Redbirds final homestand. When the Redbirds Score 6 or more runs, fans will receive 50% off their online order the following day at PapaJohns.com. Following each game, fans will also receive a Papa John’s Exit Coupon with four special online offer codes, courtesy of Papa Johns.

– “Grit and Grind Night” Growl Towel Giveaway: the first 5,000 fans will receive a logoed Redbirds and Grizzlies “Growl Towel,” courtesy of AutoZone – Game-Worn Jersey Auction: the Redbirds’ all-new Grizzlies-themed jerseys will be auctioned during the game with proceeds benefiting both the Redbirds Community Fund and the Memphis Grizzlies Foundation – Pregame Party: there will be a pregame party in the Left Field Picnic Area featuring the Grizzlies DJ and the Claw Crew, with special appearances by the Grizzline, Grannies and Grandpas, and the Blue Bunch – All-You-Can-Eat Thursday: $12 TruGreen Left Field Bluff, $17 Field Box and $20 Dugout Tickets include access to a two hour all-you-can-eat taco buffet in the left field picnic area, and each person who purchases an all-you-can-eat ticket will get a free 20 oz. Coca-Cola beverage of their choice – College Night: college students with a valid ID may purchase tickets in the TruGreen Left Field Bluff for $5, and domestic draft beer will be available for $2 at the Left Field Bar throughout the game.
