WM outpaces Wynne and Riverside

WM School District The West Memphis Blue Devil boys golf team posted its second victory of the season on Tuesday at Meadowbrook Country Club, ousting Wynne and Riverside in a triangular match.

The Blue Devils' 174 total in the nine-hole affair bested Wynne's 181 and Riverside's 209.

West Memphis was led by lefty-swinging senior Parker Jennings, who fired a 39.

Three other Blue Devils carded 45 on the day, including junior Kaiden Holt, senior Tyler Jones and sophomore Carlson Bennage.

Senior Hayden Spears turned in a 46 as well.

Wynne got a team-leading 41 from Johnny Smith while Brett Green had a 43, Kaden Baskins shot 46 and Kip Patterson turned in a 51.

Riverside got a 44 from Larry Tulley and a 51 from Preston Nichols.

The West Memphis junior varsity was led by Tanner Ramsey's 50 while Brunson Langston and Drew Griffin shot 57 apiece. Trevor Pulliam had a 60 and Wayne Kuykendall fired a 68.
