news@theeveningtimes.com After 19 years as Airport Manager and overseeing $28 million in infrastructure improvements, Lynda Avery is stepping down in September.
With Avery at the helm since 1997, the West Memphis Airport has received numerous awards, including twice being recognized as Arkansas Airport of the Year. Airport Commission Chairman David Pike praised Avery’s tenure at the board’s August meeting.
