Hometown Festival set for Oct. 8 return

Annual crowd favorite set to hit Crawfordsville Main Street once again

ralphhardin@gmail.com It’s almost fall, y’all, and that means it’s almost time for the 10th annual Hometown Crawfordsville Harvest Festival. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for allday fun. Live music, a children’s parade, a golf cart parade, a 5K walk/run, bake sales and a bake off, car show, arts and crafts, great food, and more mean fun for the whole family.

And, of course, there’s the always-popular drawings for prizes. This years prizes up for grabs will include an HDTV, an Exxon gas package, a John Deere riding toy, four Firestone tires, a .22-caliber rifle and a Yeti cooler. There will be a separate grand prize drawing for an E-Z Valor utility vehicle, Polaris Sportsman 450 ATV or a Kubota Z- 122 zero turn mower.
