My daughter lives in Lakeshore Estates. They pay for a trash pickup that refuses to pick up trash that is not in garbage bag. Most of the residents in the trailer park are very poor and cannot afford a trailer to move the trash and therefore it builds up either in front of their trailer or on the property.

This is a health issue with mice, snakes, disgusting decay of trash and no one wants to help.

I cannot understand why a Trash Company, that has to be licensed in either West Memphis or Marion, refuses to pick up the extra trash. Someone has to be held responsible for enforcing rules. If the trash company is held responsible, or West Memphis and/or Marion help with a dumpster, then the residents can be held responsible for the filth in the yards and pay penalties if not kept clean. I see warnings from the Health Department at different properties, but nothing is corrected.

Lakeshore Estates is a community that is deemed a bad place to live, a place known for drug dealers.

There are also residents who take pride in their property, cannot afford to move and have to live with the filth at some properties.

The residents pay taxes on their properties and need help. I think if they can get the assistance to clean up the area then it will boost a lot of pride in their way of life and encourage everyone to make a difference.

It seems like neither West Memphis or Marion want anything to do with Lakeshore, yet the children go to your schools, the taxes go to your city, and no one wants to participate in trying to help.
